Single Player
Standard Mode
Fireworks shoot toward the top of the screen in time with the music. You must explode each firework as it reaches the target bar. The game ends when the song finishes, or if you miss too many fireworks. Your scores count toward the worldwide Xbox Live leaderboards.
Endurance Mode
Fireworks must be exploded as normal, but this time the BPM of the song keeps getting faster over time. At the end of the song you go back to the beginning, but at a much faster speed than before. The game ends when you miss too many fireworks; survive as long as possible!
Practice Mode
It is possible to slow down the music to train yourself on the tough sections. Your score does not count toward a leaderboard in Practice Mode.
Freestyle
The target bar is removed, meaning that fireworks can be exploded whenever they are on screen. Ideal for younger players.
Visualizer
Watch a fireworks display synchonised to your music. In order to use this mode, play some tracks through the Xbox 360 Guide, and then select "Visualizer" from the Single Player menu.
Multiplayer
Battle
Split-screen head-to-head in BBR, with two players on the same Xbox 360 console. Play one song to the end, and whoever has the biggest score at the end wins!
Endurance
Split-screen multiplayer, but this time the song loops round at the end of the lap. The BPM steadily increases, and the winner is the player who can stay alive for the longest!
